Some schools and some places of business allow a parent to bring their child to work to show them the importance of their education. Consider creating activities to help the children start thinking about their future, some younger ones may only be interested in making a photo-copy of their hand. Try to minimize disturbing colleagues, they have work to do too. Be ready with some activities (in addition to the inevitable spinning in the chair) to keep your child busy.
